We don’t wish to tell you how long we have been working in tourism, nor to enumerate in how many sectors we tested our experience.
We just want to tell you that we were born and grew up in this land; we played and shouted in these alleys; we gave our first kisses and cried for finished loves in these villages …
We travelled all around the world, and we liked it very much.
But then we came back in this portion of Tuscany still highly liveable and quite, but never boring, rich of fragrances, colours, history and tastes impossible to find anywhere else.
From this land, held in a compass circle with its centre in Chiusi, embracing the neighboring Latium and Umbria, we learnt the passion for beautiful and simple things.
We would like to let people know, not only the most famous towns, but also the less famous places, often darkened by the names of more notorious localities.
Small centres and villages rich of art and tradition, immersed in picturesque landscapes, where every corner could be a wonderful subject for a watercolour painting, or at least for a picture.
Hills and mountains, rivers and lakes: landscapes that change every time where strolling, riding a bicycle or a horse, breathing still “breathable” air.
We would like to make you appreciate the changeability of this land and of its people, from whose faces emerge history and past, or the many pasts you can discover in this territory: Prehistory, the enigmatic Etruscan people, the imprint of Romans and Lombards, Middle Age and Renaissance, the birth of the city-states and of the Signorias.
With abundance and generosity of places and traditions, we cannot forget the savory kitchen, poor but noble in taste and in the genuineness and uniqueness of the ingredients, accompanied by wines and valuable oils: a sin of gluttony or only a hint for interesting tastings.
Here there is everything: green hills, beautiful countryside, spas, art, good wine and excellent food, abundance and generosity of characteristic places and traditions (and if you want to reach the seaside…in less than two hours you are there!)
